Cashback in categories

Each month, select and confirm 3 out of 5 offered categories in your Uralsib Bonus personal account in the "Favorite Categories" section and pay for purchases with Uralsib cards. Bonus rubles will be credited immediately after the transaction is processed (on average, this takes about 3 days).

Cashback is credited in bonus rubles, 1 bonus ruble = 1 ₽

In all categories except “Transport” and “Toll roads”, bonus rubles are credited for every full 100 rubles of purchase amount.

For example:

 - You selected the “Pharmacies 5%” category for the month and made a purchase for 545 rubles – we will credit 25 bonus rubles for this purchase

 - You selected the “Transport 2%” category for the month and made a purchase for 80 rubles – we will credit 1.60 bonus rubles for this purchase

The minimum amount of bonus rubles that can be credited for a purchase is 1 bonus ruble.

If categories are not selected, cashback is not accrued.

In this case, we will debit the accrued bonus rubles:

-       If the purchase is returned in the same month in which it was made, we will debit the same amount that was accrued.

-       If the refund is processed in the following month, we will debit bonus rubles at the rate that will apply to the categories of that month.

-       If at the time of the purchase refund there are not enough bonus rubles in your account to debit the full amount, the remaining balance will be debited from bonus rubles credited in the future.

If you subscribe to the “Premium banking” or “Private banking” service package after selecting categories for the current and\or next month, we will continue to accrue cashback in those categories until the end of such months (for which the categories were selected). After that, cashback will be accrued in accordance with the terms of your service package.

Cashback will accrue on purchases made after selecting categories, but not earlier than the first day of the month for which the categories are selected — the earlier you choose, the more cashback you can receive. For example, categories for December can be selected from November 27 to December 31. You can check the start date of the categories in the “Favorite categories” section. You can check the amount accrued in the “Transaction History” section.

up to 3,000 bonus rubles per month, but no more than 1,000 bonus rubles in categories with increased rewards, i.e. in all categories except the “For Everything” category.

Increased cashback is accrued on the amount of purchases above the specified amount\number of purchases; for purchases up to the specified threshold, cashback is accrued at the rate of the category "For all purchases" (if you selected such a category for the month)

Example of how a category with a purchase amount condition works:

-       You selected the categories "Supermarkets – 5% on the purchase amount from 10,000 rubles" and "For all purchases 1%" for the month

-       You spent 15,000 rubles in the "Supermarkets" category during the month

For the first 10,000 rubles of purchases in the "Supermarkets" category, you will receive 1% (at the rate of the category "For all purchases"), for 5 000 rubles you will receive increased cashback of 5%

Example of how a category with a condition on the number of purchases works: 

-       You selected the categories "Supermarkets – 5% from the 4th purchase" and "For all purchases 1%" for the month

-       You made four purchases in the "Supermarkets" category

For the first three purchases in the "Supermarkets" category, you will receive 1% (at the rate of the category "For all purchases"), for the amount of the fourth purchase cashback will be accrued at the rate of 5%.

There may be several reasons:

-       You did not select categories for the month or made the purchase before selecting categories

-       You paid for the purchase via QR code or through the Faster Payments System (SBP)

-       The purchase is still being processed

-       The purchase was paid for with the credit card “120 Days to the Max” or the “Premium Credit Card”

-       The purchase does not match the selected categories

-       The purchase amount was less than 100 rubles (except for the “Transport” and “Toll Roads” categories)

-       The calculated cashback for the purchase was less than 1 bonus ruble

Bonus rubles are awarded for card purchases or purchases made online using card details.

-       If you are a holder of the Premium banking service package or Private Banking, we will award bonus rubles for purchases made with all cards that are connected to the Uralsib Bonus program;

-       If you do not yet have a premium service package, we will award bonus rubles in the cashback categories that you choose for the month.

Bonus rubles are not awarded for all purchases.  The full list of exclusions is available in the Program Rules.

The categories for the current month can be checked in the “Favorite categories” section. The categories for the current and previous month can be checked in the “My bonuses” section, where you can also see how many bonus rubles have been credited in the selected categories.

No, if you have not selected categories, but have already made a purchase, cashback will not be accrued. For example: if you selected categories on December 10, you will receive cashback for purchases made from December 10 to 31 December.
