What documents does a non-resident need to obtain a card?

To open a card, the bank must verify the person's identity and their right to lawful stay in Russia. For this reason, the list of required documents depends on citizenship. • A passport is always required. Without a passport, a card cannot be opened.
• If you do not have a Residence permit or Temporary residence permit, you may come with a migration card.
• Even if the migration card has expired, the bank may still accept you, but only if you have a patent or an employment contract.
