An individual entrepreneur only needs to present a passport. Legal entities will need the director’s passport and incorporation documents.
If account management is delegated to another person, the following must be provided:
an order or a notarized power of attorney granting the right to sign and dispose of funds;
the passport of the authorized representative.
The bank independently prepares the remaining documents and provides them for signature after approval. In addition, the bank may request additional documents in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation and regulations of the Bank of Russia.
How many current accounts can an organization have?
The legislation does not establish any limits on the number of current accounts for individual entrepreneurs and legal entities.

What should I do if funds were sent to a closed current account?
If funds are transferred to a closed current account, the transaction will not be completed and the funds will be returned to the sender. As a rule, the return takes from 1 to 3 business days.
If the funds have not been returned within the specified period, it is recommended to contact the bank from which the payment was made. Submit a request to cancel the transaction or clarify its status.
