How long does it take for funds to be credited to a current account?

The time it takes for funds to be received depends on a number of factors:

• the type of transfer (intrabank or interbank);
• the time the payment is sent;
  
• the payment system used;
  
• the transaction format.
  

The easiest and fastest way to transfer funds is through the Faster Payments System (SBP). In this case, the money is received almost instantly. With standard bank transfers, crediting may in exceptional cases take up to 5 business days.
