Under what circumstances can I expect to receive a loan repayment holiday?
You may apply for a loan repayment holiday
if all of the following conditions are met:
the loan
agreement was concluded before March 1, 2022,
the loan amount / credit limit does not exceed the maximum level established by the Government of the Russian Federation,
there is a documented decrease in income of more than 30% in the month preceding the month of your application for the holiday, compared with your average monthly income for 2021,
as of the date of application, the loan agreement is not subject to a preferential period granted in accordance with Article 6.1-1 of Federal Law No. 353-FZ dated December 21, 2013 "On Consumer Credit (Loan)" (for mortgage loans).
What is the maximum loan amount for which I can obtain a payment holiday?
According to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation,
the maximum loan amount for which a payment holiday can be obtained:
Personal loan for individuals — RUB 300,000.
Credit cards (limit) — RUB 100,000
Car loan – RUB 700,000.
Mortgage loan – RUB 3 million (for residential
premises located in Moscow – RUB 6 million, in the Moscow Region/ St.
Petersburg/ constituent entities of the Russian Federation included in the Far Eastern Federal District – RUB 4 million).
My loan amount/credit limit is higher than the maximum level determined by the Government of the Russian Federation, but I need a payment holiday. What should I do?
If the amount or limit of your
loan exceeds the maximum values, you may contact the bank to
consider the possibility of reducing the payment under the bank's standard
restructuring programs; an application for restructuring can be submitted on the bank's
website.
If you can provide documentary proof
of a 30% or more decrease in your income, a phone call to The bank at
8 800 700 00 79 from the phone number specified in the loan application form or in
the loan agreement will be sufficient.
You can submit an application at any time during the term
of the loan agreement, but no later than September 30, 2022.
What documents must I provide to confirm a decrease in income level?
In the event of a complete or partial loss of
income, as well as unpaid leave:
2-PIT, 3-PIT certificate / income and expense ledger (for individual entrepreneurs), certificate on the status of settlements for professional income tax (for self-employed persons)
In case of dismissal or liquidation of the company:
extract from the employment center on registration as unemployed
In case of illness:
sick leave certificate (certificate of temporary disability) for a period of 1 month or more.
If you have a co-borrower, the documents
must also be provided by them.
What will happen if I apply for a loan payment holiday and then cannot confirm a decrease in income level?
In this case, the loan payment holiday will be
cancelled. The entire amount of deferred payments will become overdue, a penalty will
be charged on the amount of payments you failed to make, and your credit history will
deteriorate.
Can I take a payment holiday if I have a mortgage loan?
Yes. For a mortgage loan, a payment holiday of up to 6 months may be granted if the loan
meets the amount requirements of the Government Resolution, the reduction in income
is documented, and if there is currently no mortgage payment holiday in effect
for your mortgage loan.
What will happen when the loan payment holiday ends?
After the payment holiday period, you will need
to repay both scheduled payments and deferred ones. During the payment holiday period, interest on
the use of the loan will continue to accrue.
