How can I obtain a certificate of open current accounts?
Only the account holder may request a certificate of open current accounts. The document contains information on active accounts, their opening dates, and the currency.
You can obtain the certificate in two ways:
Online — via the remote banking service system (Uralsib Online).
At a bank branch — upon personal application.
Issuance of the certificate is subject to a fee; the cost depends on the bank's tariffs.
Can a medical clinic open a second current account?
Yes, the law does not limit the number of current accounts for individual entrepreneurs and organizations. You can open an additional account with your bank or with another credit institution.
A second account is often used to separate financial flows, work with branches, or choose more favorable tariffs & fees. You can apply to open a new account online; the process is similar to opening the first one.
In what cases can the bank close a current account?
The bank is entitled to initiate the closure of a client's current account in the following situations:
Account inactivity. If there have been no transactions on the account for 6 months.
No funds. If no money has been credited to the account for 6 months and the account balance has been zero or negative.
Liquidation of a legal entity. Upon the official liquidation of a company, the account is closed automatically.
The account may also be closed automatically if the bank identifies signs of money laundering or involvement in suspicious transactions. In this case, transactions on the account will first be temporarily blocked. To unfreeze the account, the client will need to provide documents confirming the legality of the incoming funds. If legality cannot be confirmed, the bank decides to close the account.
In all cases except liquidation, the bank is required to notify the client of its decision. If there is a remaining balance in the account, the funds must be transferred to another bank or received in cash.
