What is acquiring?

Acquiring is a banking service that helps accept cashless payments through a terminal using bank cards, smartphones with Mir Pay, and other devices. After payment, the funds are transferred to the acquiring bank, which then remits them to the current account of an individual entrepreneur or company. 

There are two main types of acquiring:

• Merchant acquiring. Allows you to accept payments through a terminal.
• Internet acquiring. Used for online payments on a website or through other digital channels.
