Acquiring is a banking service that allows businesses to accept payments by cards, smartphones, and other devices. When a payment is made, the buyer transfers money to the acquiring bank, which then credits it to the seller's current account.
There are two main types of acquiring:
Merchant acquiring. Allows payments to be made through terminals installed at the checkout.
Internet acquiring. Suitable for accepting online payments on the company's website or in its app.
What should I do if acquiring has stopped working?
If payments via acquiring are not going through, contact Uralsib technical support or your manager. Specialists will check the settings, help restore the equipment’s operation, and advise on the next steps. Support service contacts are provided in the agreement and on the bank’s website.
First, fill out a short online application; it will take a few minutes. After that, a bank manager will contact you, clarify the details, and offer suitable acquiring terms for your business.
Then you will only need to sign the agreement and arrange a convenient time for the installation of the equipment. Specialists will deliver and set up the terminals within 1–3 business days after the application is submitted.
If a company has purchased a terminal from an authorized supplier, the bank can connect it to acquiring. In other cases, Uralsib provides a terminal for temporary use at no additional charge. In the event of a breakdown or malfunction, the bank will replace the device with a new one.
