How is a credit card different from a debit card?

A credit card differs from a debit card in that it allows you to use the bank's funds, while a debit card allows you to use only your own funds. In addition, a credit card has an interest-free (grace) period when you use the bank's funds and do not pay interest for it.

At the same time, a credit card cannot be used as a payroll card and, unlike a debit card, it cannot be linked to a loan or mortgage account for a more convenient way to pay off the loan.

Externally, plastic cards differ not only in design, but also in the presence of the words DEBIT and CREDIT on the front side, respectively.
