How long does it take for money to reach a current account?

The transfer speed depends on a number of factors: the time the transaction is made, the type of payment, the payment system used, and the type of transaction (intrabank or interbank).

If the Faster Payments System (SBP) is used for the transfer, the money is credited within a few seconds. In rare cases, standard bank transfers are processed for up to 5 days.
